3 Things I’m grateful for — Day 3:
1. God’s voice — sweet
2. God’s choice — sovereign
3. God’s noise –suffering
C.S. Lewis said, “God whispers to us in our pleasures…but shouts in our pains: It is His megaphone to rouse a deaf world.” God’s voice can be so sweet, so gentle. Yet, when needed, He uses noise — suffering — to steer us in the right direction. I’m grateful for the sweetness of His voice and the sovereignty of HIS choice to use the noise.
